The Interim Show was a collective 'pop up' show where each student from Graphic Design and Illustration & Animation selected an image from their current project as well as (if applicable) a physical element to be framed and presented. The layout was designed to fill the empty space on the wall and create a wall of imagery, developing an exhibition in a 'non-exhibition' space.
Students exhibited leporellos, prints, sculpture and laser cut sculpture, textiles, models and even active working neon signs. In addition to that there were frames displaying editorial design, video work and film, illustration, typography and animation (screen shots) alongside the Interim Catalogue which contained everyone's work: a more physical and intimate element to the show including artist info etc.
At this time, my current project was the 'Controlled Chaos' project (on my 'Work' page) so I took 3 texturally strong frames from my film and edited them to portrait. These images were sent off to the editors who then selected one and put it into the frame for the wall and published it into the show catalogue.
